Family-owned Hurricane Construction was founded in 1993, at a time when affordable, quality homes in the Columbia area were almost out of reach for most homebuyers. We began building our distinctive homes and lifestyle friendly neighborhoods in 2001 and have since gained a reputation for building the most affordable, quality homes in the Columbia market.
We have grown Hurricane Construction from building 15 homes a year to over 250 homes a year. Today, Hurricane Construction is one of the Midlands’ largest home builders, having built hundreds of homes in Columbia, Lexington, Lugoff, West Columbia and surrounding areas, and we are constantly looking for new opportunities to deliver to the market the best home for the best price. A team of more than 30 dedicated professionals supported by over 500 subcontractors and suppliers work tirelessly to make new home dreams come true for individuals and families, whether you’re buying your first home or moving up.
